Hello! My name is Marc, and I am an experienced contractor during by day and an online product reviewer the rest of the time. I’m a firm believer that experience creates the best teacher—whether at the work site, in a relationship, or as a consumer. Interestingly enough, all of these areas of life provide an opportunity to share my experience, successes, and even my failures. It would be an understatement for me to say that, in my 44 years, not only have I been lucky (thankfully); I have also been unlucky in life. I’m now reaching that age where I hope to eliminate some of the good and bad luck, and replace it with some good, old-fashioned wisdom and calculated decisions. I’ve made errors at work, and more than a few blunders in relationships (yikes!); also, I’ve all made my fair share of mistakes as a consumer (who hasn’t?)—but, above all else, I have learned from my failures along the way.

For example, I’ve discovered that I really enjoy learning new things while reviewing various products and services, but my real fulfillment comes from helping others so they don’t make the same mistakes I’ve made myself. On the flipside, I’ve also discovered a love of sharing what has impressed me as well as what has worked for me.

Since my day job has allowed me to live anywhere from New York to Nebraska and I’m currently on the West Coast, I have a pretty good idea as to what works for people in different parts of the country. And, I keep this in mind while reviewing products and courses. I also strive to provide reviews that are no nonsense—just like me.
